AZWEL Artist promoted by Star Radio
Azwel is a project that involves New York songwriter Jason Perrillo. He describes the music as interesting melodic pop. The songs are influenced by various styles of music ranging from the early britpop sounds of Blur, Suede to Radiohead or even the Pet Shop Boys. All of the album recording sessions take place in his home studio.

Azwel released a debut album, "Hap End Void" in 2003. The loosely based themes of each song range from dark humor, fictional storytelling, to obscure event descriptions. Azwel released the second album "Diversions" only a half year later. The sound was taken much further in this release as it featured more acoustic instrument sounds and less programmed beats. Azwel's music is filled with lush landscapes and wonderful melodies. Melody is key in every song. Many b-sides that don't make it to the final album can be found on the single releases.

Throughout the year Azwel's songs have been reviewed online and have gotten very positive feedback such as "Track Of The Day" at garageband several times with the singles "Con Invade and Sue", "Forester" and " A Ship Called Who". A few songs were also feautred on a compilation by Sexy Karate Records.

There were no plans for live shows as of this writing (of this bio) but always check back to the official site for information. Azwel finished in 2004 a third album entitled "Aqua Vitae" and shortly after released a brand new E.P.

There are no other members in this band but it's always a possibility

Here are a few of his songs: Plenty more at www.azwel.com

TWELVE34 Artist promoted by Star Radio
Twelve34 is the story of four Canadian musicians who’s tracks paralleled and eventually met to collaborate and do what they do best. It started when Eric St-Cyr was approached by the band-less drummer Jasen Colson at a party. Colson heard through the grapevine that St-Cyr needed a drummer for the now defunct band Ignition. He tried out and the chemistry worked out just right. But as bands evolve, bands grow apart. After Ignition called it quits, the two went on to form twelve34. The game plan is simple for now. To fill out the band they acquired Jason St-Cyr on bass, and Ryan Lindsay on rhythm guitar.

Their straight up blend of rock is something for everyone. “Our song writing is inspired by the greats like The Beatles, and we try to give it a modern context. It’s really something that everybody can enjoy. Between Jay being the most unlikely lead singer, and my over the top rock and roll antics, this should make an interesting show.” Claims St-Cyr.

Their first release, The twelve34 EP, with it’s two singles Falling Down and Why Pretend?, has enjoyed international airplay as well as entering many top charts. Recorded in a brief intermission during the great power outage of 2003, the EP featured 6 raw tracks recorded entirely by Jasen Colson and Eric St-Cyr.

Their follow-up full length, to be released to summer of 2004 will showcase the bands raw live sound, as well as several acoustic tracks.
