Eurovision Song Contest 2006: Who will be the winner?

Here comes May.... & in Europe, for the past 51 years, this means here comes the Eurovision Song Contest. I've been watching this contest every single year since 1982; it used to be fun and winners of the contest were really the best out of all the participants. For the past few years, Eurovision is not the same anymore; it became more focused on the business behind the contest and not really caring that the best must win. This said, every year, there are many quality songs and probably this is the only reason why I still care to watch the Eurovision contest.

Last year, there were some good songs, and we played most of them on Star Radio; this year, I'm sad because there are really so few songs that you can even bother to listen to. Star Radio's staff has selected what they believe are the ONLY songs that your ears would want to listen to. The shows of 2004 and 2005 were globaly great, but the voting completely ridiculous; eastern european countries voting for each other and same happened from western european countries! ... let's wait and see how ridiculous the votings will be this year in Athens...
So who will win this year? My own favorites are Kate Ryan from Belgium as well as Mihai from Romania... but favorites almost never win.... I remember Xandee in 2004!

More on Eurovision on Star Radio.
