Nelly Furtado to sing Euro 2004 anthem 'Forca' |
|
Nelly Furtado will be singing the official anthem of the three-week
Euro 2004 football tournament.
Furtado will perform the upbeat song "Forca" before the start of the
final match of the 16-nation tournament on July 4 in Porto, Portugal's
second-largest city.
The song is on her second album "Folklore" which has sold over a
million copies around the world since its release. Furtado grew up in the

successful debut album "Whoa, Nelly," which has sold sold over
six-million discs around the world since its release in 2000.

of 'Assault on Precinct 13', a remake of John Carpenter's 1976
apocalyptic movie. Other cast members include Ethan Hawke, Laurence Fishburne,
