George Michael - WHAM !
The 40-year-old star has announced that his new album, Patience, his first album of original songs for eight years, will be the last he makes for sale through record shops, because he doesn't need the cash and is sick of the pressures of staying famous.
Any future songs he writes and records will be shared with everyone free on the internet. Fans will be invited to make an online donation, which he will pass on to charity. The singer said he thought that his decision was unprecedented for a commercial star, but that it made sense to him.

On the other hand, George Michael has revealed he is in discussions to stage a musical about former 80s pop icons Wham! Michael and former partner Andrew Ridgley have apparently received a number of offers to turn the career of the band into a West End production. George admitted that he hates the idea but he is aware that a certain generation of people would love it. He is concerned about the lack of "charm" the music would have in a dramatic situation.

To be continued...

Kylie is a DIVA
Kylie Minogue is taking part of the VH1 Divas show in Las Vegas on April 19, at the MGM Grand, and will perform alongside Debbie Harry, Joss Stone, Jessica Simpson, Patti LaBelle and Cyndi Lauper. On the love life, more and more rumours confirms that Kylie Minogue proposed to her French actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez. The marriage will be planned for June and it will be either in Paris, Sydney or Barbados, its probably going to be where it's the hottest. Kylie, said she was thinking about having children and has revealed that she plans to take things a little easier and take time out of promotional work to be with Martinez when he is filming.

Elvis Costello is no stranger to change. After starting out as one of the first New Wave acts of the 70s with 'Watching the Detectives', just five years later Costello surprised fans by releasing the Country & Western album 'Almost Blue'. In 1993, he made 'The Juliet Letters', an album with a chamber band and then in 1998 came 'Painted From Memory' with legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach.
Costello's most recent album 'North' was released on the German classic label Deutche Grammophon.
